Visual Word Recognition

Recognizing words when you see someone say them, so much so that you don’t have to hear the word being spoken.

Vocabulary

These are words that you know and use. You have to both know the word and use the word. If you know the word but you never use it then it’s not part of your vocabulary. You only know a word when you know how to use the word in every direction that it can go. For example, if you know the verb ending “am” but you don’t know if it matches with “I,you, he, she, they, him, her, our or your” then you don’t know am. Not completely.

Different languages use genders for certain words. If you don’t know a word’s gender then you don’t really know the word.

Grammar

Knowing the order in which words are placed per the language that you are learning.
